MacDill Air Force Base is located 8 miles south of Tampa. For Tampa residents, the easiest methods of getting to the base is to take the Dale Mabry exit from either I-275 or the Crosstown Expressway (this is a toll road). Take Dale Mabry south to the base's main gate.

The MacDill gate will also be open. Visitors can go through this gate by getting off Dale Mabry Blvd at various points. Making a left turn onto Kennedy Blvd, Bay to Bay Blvd, Gandy Blvd, Euclid Ave, or Interbay Road and turning right onto MacDill Ave, will lead directly to the MacDill gate.  

Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to avoid long traffic lines. There will be limited parking availability. Once all parking lots are full there will be no entrance to the base. There will be absolutely no entry to the base past 3 p.m. on each show day.  

From Orlando

 
Take I-4 west to I-275 west into Tampa. Make a right off the ramp on I-275 onto South Dale Mabry Blvd. Keep Dale Mabry all the way to MacDill AFB.

From Clearwarter

 
Take I-275 toward Tampa onto Kennedy Blvd. Make a right on Dale Mabry Blvd. and keep that out to MacDill AFB.

From St. Petersburg,

Take 4^th Street North (coming from downtown St. Petersburg) make right on Gandy Bridge toward Tampa. This road turns into Gandy Blvd. Make a right on Dale Mabry Blvd. and keep that out to MacDill AFB.

From Brandon

Take the Crosstown expressway all the way the last exit toward South Tampa. The road loops around to Gandy Blvd. Immediately get in the next lane and make a right on Dale Mabry Blvd. Keep Dale Mabry all the way to MacDill AFB.
